Hi Marcy! Your ring is beautiful! I also loved your comment about looking at all the facets from the side when you tilt the diamond...that is my favorite angle to view my EC from.

From the top ECs are very orgainzed and symmetrcal, but when you tilt them, you get all sorts of crazy sparkles!

We went to the ''big'' city today and I found an EC diamond I really liked. It didn''t have any certs with it so I don''t have any specs but after looking at several they had in the store this is the one that caught my eye the minute they pulled it out. It''s a great size, icy color and very lively.

It is .55 E SI2. The inclusions are light and not visible naked eye but you can see them in my blown up images below. One of them reflects up through the neighboring step cuts.

LOL Marcyc, you remind me of myself. Do you live in the middle of nowhere too?

I like smaller sizes too! I''m originally a city girl, but I do live out in the country now (not for long though). Denver is a beautiful city, and I''m glad you know where to go to get your jewelry fix. I adore the setting you chose for this EC, great choice!

Enjoy the stars for me out in the country. Even though we live in a small city the Milky Way is lost here. I do have a nice place to get my jewelry fix in Denver. I tried quite a few settings but this one seemed to be the best suited for this size of diamond. My gemstone RHR are getting jealous I haven''t worn any of them since Saturday.
