I finally received my reset by Leon Mege just in time for Christmas. You guys have seen many similar sets by Leon before, but I wanted to post and thank everyone for their help! I would never have found Leon without PS. Special thanks to Goodsoul, Pannini, and Diamondnut who patiently answered my questions about their rings.
My old set was a plain platinum cathedral setting and band. While I love the look of a platinum solitaire, my setting was too high and clunky for my taste.
Leon was wonderful to work with and I found him to be very pleasant on the phone. I was a little nervous (based on other PS posts) to talk to him about wearing the band and e-ring together, but he was happy to accommodate my request. We had some difficulty finding the same language to talk about the setting height, but he was more than patient and I ultimately felt very good about our working relationship. His workmanship is impeccable and I could not be more pleased with the results. I found his assistant to be very pleasant and professional.
The stone: Round Brilliant, 1.35 carat, VS1, E
The setting: 401 style - requested about a 1.8mm band, ring size 4.75 (I''m really a 4.5 but I hate tight rings)
