I'm THRILLED to share my new Paraiba ring from Yvonne Raley of Cecile Raley Designs! It arrived today and being the dutiful PSer that I am, immediately whipped out my phone and took a ton of photos. Excuse the photo load, I hope you enjoy~~!!!

I'd like to thank Yvonne for being all-around awesome, and for putting up with my nitpickiness and patiently and thoroughly answering all my many questions and anxieties during the design and production process. It's not the first time I've bought something from Yvonne and definitely will not be the last.

Also, a big thank you to everyone on the Colored Stones forum for fuelling my Paraiba obsession and for sharing beautiful eyecandy and ideas.

Center stone - Paraiba tourmaline from Brazil, 2.05 carats, 9.57 x 6.53 x 4.44mm
Setting - Yvonne's "Camellia" design in platinum, with 3 rows of 1.5mm diamonds, 1.5 mm Brazilian Paraiba, and 1mm Brazilian Paraiba respectively.

Mochiko, I am in LOVE with your GORGEOUS new ring. Everything about it is perfection.
The color, the setting the overall oomph...LOVE it!

It is gorgeous! And it's so substantial Enjoy wearing it!

Surprisingly it is very hefty and sturdy. I asked for it to be made in size 7 so I could also wear it on my middle finger. It's by far the heaviest ring I have due to the size and amount of platinum (as plat is heavier than gold), but once on I don't feel like it is too heavy. It looks delicate and is comfortable on the finger, but it feels like it's built like a
tank! (Good thing too considering the paraiba are fragile gems.)

Considering that you have THE two Paraiba rings which set the standard for me on PS for Paraiba, this is high praise indeed! Yvonne did an amazing job and she is so great to work with.

Thanks minous I may reset my cuprian ring somewhere along the road, though. The curse of being a picky PSer!
I have to say that my green cuprian ring still has more glow to it than this cab, but this one has a strong turquoise blue color and also has more finger coverage. Both are beautiful to me.

It's beautiful, and I hope to see it in person next year!

Haha yes I will definitely be posting more photos on Insta too. It reminds me of the Andaman Sea in Krabi, Thailand, where I went for vacation a few months ago. Ahh.. vacation

Love your new photos!! I also ordered a Mrs. Box type box for my camellia!! These little flower rings just seem to need them Love the color of yours- mine is much lighter and more of a tiffany blue.
