Holy cow!!! That is beautiful.

That is indeed an original setting, my 5 stone wedding ring is set in a similar basket type setting, I have been told it's late Victorian or Edwardian. Except mine is much smaller.. just over 1 ct.

I'm glad to hear JBEG were good to deal with, I am in Australia too and would love to have a piece from them for our 10th anniversary next year.
