Hello Ladies! A while ago in the under 1 ct thread I posted about a beautiful ring I inherited from FIL. It belonged to his late wife who I never got chance to meet. The diamond itself is a modest .9cts, 6mm, HI color and I1 clarity. It's not a perfect stone but because it is cut so well it sparkles like mad and has tons of fire and personality.
The old setting was just a classic but very worn out 6 prong Tiffany styled setting.
Before shots:
I am so happy with the results of the new setting! This is is a size 3.5 ArtCarved Imani in 14k white gold with 2 pts of surprise diamonds on either side.
After shots:
What surprised me is that stone seems to have gotten bigger in its new setting
Yay! amazing what a new setting can do. I just love the sentiment behind the stone and am glad we could give it a new life.
