Hi everyone,
I finally got engaged in March after 5 years of dating! He proposed to me on a seaplane right as we flew over the Space Needle (We live in Seattle). I probably bugged him for 2 years about the ring and sent him hundreds of emails and photos from Pricescope. I knew that I wanted a cushion halo, and Victor Canera's work caught my eye. When we lived in LA we visited Victor in downtown LA and he was very accommodating and easy to talk to. He showed me a couple of his completed settings and they blew me away - I knew that his hand forged settings were the one.
We actually sourced the diamond from a local woman in Seattle, Grace Hwang. She owns Grace Diamonds in downtown Seattle and has know my fiance's family for over 20 years. It took her over 6 months to finally find the center stone, and I must say it is spectacular. I love the chunky facets, the squareness, and how white it is.
