VL, I am so sorry. I've been thinking about you both every day. You did such an amazing job taking care of her. Please be easy on yourself and take the time you need to grieve. It's so difficult to lose a loved one. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
VL, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you. Sending you big hugs and support. As others have said, be kind to yourself, and look to others for support when you are ready.
VL, I can't imagine how you must feel right now. May all the wonderful memories of Mrs. VL bring you comfort during this time. I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending you lots of support and hugs.
Having lost my DH to cancer, I thought I could give you something to help with your grief and pain but all I feel is sadness. You will find your way through this and will one day be happy again. Don't kick yourself if you have a mix of emotions. With the grief there may be a feeling of weight lifted off your shoulders. You lived through many years of stress watching someone you love suffer. I send you love and hugs and hope that you have loved ones to help you through this difficult time.
VL, while I only know you through your postings here,it was clear how you cared for your wife, how you loved her and all the great kindness you showed her over these past months. I wish you comfort and peace as you mourn. I will hold you up in prayer as you find your way through these next days. Death may take many things from us, but it can never take the love-the love remains where it has always been, deeply stored in your heart. May it comfort you and light your path.
I have been thinking about you as well. Lots of hugs and my sincere condolences go out to you. I hope that one day we can rid the world from cancer for all of the friends and loved ones we have lost.
