Orchestral hijinks in New York City. What a fun show! :appl: I think it would be characterized as a drama, but it has a strong vein of humor too - and of course, great musical sound bites. It's being broadcast on Amazon, of all things. I watched the first two episodes while visiting my brother and SIL... I may have to bite the bullet and actually pay to see the rest. I think you can access it for free with Amazon prime though.

I love this show! I just binged on the whole season. It is available through Prime- do a free month trial and watch them then you can cancel.

What I loved most about it- amidst excellent writing, acting, etc- was the celebration and appreciation of the absurd moments in life, the varied characters we meet, and the ability to laugh at ourselves and at life. I really hope they produce a second season!

Loved it too! I bought the book after I finished all the vid. the vid reminded me of fun times when I was getting my bachelor's in clarinet performance and just the crazy music world in general. The book is more complicated, darker and specific to Tindall herself.

I've never worked for a conductor that 'nice,' lol.

VRBeauty, thank you for recommending this show. I had not heard of it till I read your post and we watched it last night (7 episodes at one sitting lol) and we both loved it. Thank you. Amazon Prime is good for more than just overnight and 2 day shipping. :appl:
