I'd love to do a dinner ring study-for educational purposes, of courseI don't say this lightly, but I think Morgan le Fay is somewhere near the top of my favorite PS rings. Cressida was nice, but I would pick this one 100 times over. It was luck that you found her, and perseverence made her yours.
I always think of cocktail rings being very large stones, perhaps colored, either solitaire or a more elaborate setting. And I always thought of dinner rings as navette shaped, multiple smaller stones in more lacey settings, like Cressida and Morgan le Fay. I just did a google image search for both terms, and I think this is right, though I'm sure it can be quite subjective.
I love this! It often feels like larger diamonds, especially solitaires, are the exclusive domain of engagement rings. I'm trying to do my part to change that one ring at a time.![]()
