Johan~
Thanks for the pics, although they're depressing me! Can't there be a square stone that puts the round to shame? I mean, come on!

Size isn't everything....right?

Not everything, but it would be nice to cut these diehard round fans down a notch or two just once by having a square that was better. Then again, I guess it's enough knowing that we have better taste

Seriously, I think the jubilee is a great cut, one that maximizes the brilliance of the round and the beauty of the square.

When was your birthday, MMM? Happy belated birthday!!!

I was actually trying to make a dirty joke...but yeah, I'm really not that funny!

The big day is on saturday- I'll be 28...for the third time!

Guess it's time for my nap too, huh? LOL I can't believe I missed that!!! So Saturday's the big day? Happy early birthday then! Have any big plans? Maybe a big diamond?!?!

Sure the round looks bigger in the picture, but again we're dealing with highly magnified photos or computer models. We never see the diamonds that close in person. The variance would be indestinguishable in person, at even at 6-12 inches away.

And also VH, let's not forget that some of us just don't like rounds...so the jubilee is really the next best thing in terms of light return! I do love it!

I think the GF is having fun with hers. I gave her a brief boilerplate explanation of the Jubilee that she can tell people. She tried it out last night. She just needs practice. I thought she should print it out and laminate it and keep it in her pocket. That's the nerdy PS thing to do!

What have her friends and co-workers thought about it?

EP, are you nervous about the Jubilee? You shouldn't be. It's great. Great story, great look.

Some people show more interest than others. Most have just complimented her on it, knowing little about diamonds. I think maybe 1 person actually noticed it was different and asked about it specifically.

The important thing is that she adores it. She can't stop smiling. Even when I yell at her to stop smiling!

I'm not nervous about it. I know it'll look great. I was just curious to see if people realized it was something different.

Hopefully by the end of today I'll know which Jubilee I'm gonna get.

I'm guessing MOST people outside of this forum will not know how special it is. If someone were to say something about it, I'd probably mutter, "Pricescope?" and see what they'd say.

VH, Why in the world would you ever yell at her for that !

Hey ep6585, whatcha getting and what are your setting plans? Or is it a secret until you spring it on her?

I yell b/c:

1.) Where's MY bling?
2.) I'm having diamond separation anxiety. (I can't see it whenever I want anymore!)
