Mock up of new ruby and diamond eternity band

Some of you may remember that I started this project quite a while ago. The stones that are going to be mounted in this ring are from a vintage piece and are omcs. The rubies have the same cuts. The band is in 18k yellow gold made by Adias Jewelry Atelier. She is mounting the stones today, and I hope to have the piece on my hand by next week. I'm so excited!

We just talked and are going to be reducing the stones from 7 diamonds and 7 rubies to six of each. That way there will be more swirls visible between the stones. The swirl work is also 3 dimensional. They go all the way through the band, not just embossed or engraved. I'm sooo eager to have it on my finger!

Gemgirl, thanks so much!! I found her by trolling etsy looking for interesting mountings that used minimum melee diamonds. I really loved the work she did on my earrings, so I decided to go with her on this project that I've been dreaming of for so long!
