OMG....

I went through something similar, but it was covering up the finances for a family business. Seriously. The office manager and I (her assistant I guess?) were expected to cover up $60,000 BMWs as "business expenses". That''s just a drop in the bucket. It was frustrating. So I know kind of how you must have felt a bit. Minus the "it''s my money" part.

It''s disgusting what people do...

Yes he does, he has excellent taste. He was in a 12 year relationship with his girlfriend, who we did not like at all. She left him for someone else. We were glad, he was not. He is finally ok now. It was like a divorce for him.

Hey Miracles! I just wanted to comment on your amazing thread here even though I know I''m way late... I don''t normally read Who''s Who too much but your thread caught my attention.
Your first post really struck a cord with me. We have very similar family stories except for the fact that mine took place in the 90''s (I''m 25), my father is now 50 (still young imo). Your Mom sounds like an incedibally devoted woman, and I can''t imagine how difficult that time was for her. Not to mention you and your siblings.
I too refer to my Mother and her husband as "my parents" which I find interesting to this day. I won''t bore you with my saga, but I just get excited when I know someone else is been in this spot. I think you are an amazing example of someone who has overcome differences and made the most of them and more importantly learned and enriched your life through them.
Just wanted to thank you for sharing your story!

No, in fact, yesterday I was just sort of shellshocked and in denial. Today the reality set in and I became emotional. But I always say there is 3 days from the crucifixion to the ressurection. Three days to go crazy be in shock and confused and then acceptance of the situation and address it and start strategizing. That''s the way I roll........ I hope.
