Wow! I am glad you all didn''t think it is horrible or something like that since there were so many who liked it without the milgrain in the earlier thread. Quest has been very accomodating although a bit slow. I had to call pretty often to ask how things are going but they have been honest and terribly polite. I asked for the milgrain to be very fine and only noticeable up close and I think they did a great job. It''s their idea to just milgrain the inside. Well, if all goes as planned, I''ll get it tomorrow!

This is really funny because I don''t think I replied on that thread because the posts were so greatly in favor of not adding the milgrain. I would have said yes to adding the milgrain to pull the piece together visually. And of course, I love milgrain anyway! So I am really delighted to see how it turned out!

It adds so much character! I absolutely love it. I think you made the right decision and they did a really, really nice job. It would not have been nearly so nice if it had not been so fine (some milgrain is so big). Really, really lovely!
