Hi Mr. Asscher,

I''ve had the opportunity to email Edward Asscher twice about finding a royal (would he be your father?) We were very fortunate, however, in finding a non-branded square emerald in the 1 ct range.

My question is, and I feel lucky to ask you, what are your thoughs on settings. Do you feel a square emerald would be better fitted in a baguette setting, or a single row of pave in 2mm size?

We just cannot narrow it down. Most people feel the baguette would look lovely, but I adore pave. What are your thoughts.

Thanks for your time

thank you very much for asking
yes Edward Asscher is indeed my father
i would prefer setting it in a with pave set next to it
i love these kind of settings my self
im sorry if you didn't hear from me till now
but what also can be great is setting it with pave fancy colored
for any further info please email me personally thank u very much

Hey Mike!

Why is the faceting different on the RA as compared to the antique Asschers? Aren't the originals thought to be the standard against which others are measured?
