I would love it if I could get some opinions on the new watch I was gifted. It is the new 3181 in rose gold and despite it being a stunning piece I am wondering if on my spindly 5.5 - 6.0 inch wrists the 42 mm (over 1.5 inches) face isn't a bit too big. Even my narrow shoulders appear more narrow wearing this watch. Do you think it would suit someone with broader shoulders and bigger wrists? The gift-giver got an amazing deal apparently so I am not sure if it would cost me a lot to exchange it or even if that were an option. I guess I could sell it on e bay? Your thoughts are much appreciated.

If you know the store that they bought the watch from, and you can exchange for something that you like, or get a gift card/store credit from the return (and it's a store you frequent), I would go for it! THe other option is to re-gift it to someone you think would love it! There is no point in hanging onto something that will get no wear and spend its time tucked away in a drawer. Then it's just a waste of money and space. My $0.02!

My spindly friend rocks her MK watches all the time and gets tons of compliments! Big watches are in! I have five MK watches and now the "normal" size one looks small.
