I meant to say "love not live"

Okay, I really need help choosing between the Michael B petite princess or the Ritani Endless love. I can't decide. They both are gorgeous. If any of you have them, please let me know what you like and dislike about these two settings.

A good friend of mine on this board has considered both of those settings for a long time! I have tried on the Ritani and think it is very pretty! It's really a matter of how much you want to spend. If money is no object, I'd go with the MB. The MB is handmade while the Ritani is cast. The MB is just on a different level, and you pay for that!

I''d pick the MB for a larger stone, the Ritani (with halo?) for a smaller stone.

I agree, both are gorgeous and 2 of my top favorites as well. I actually prefer the head on the Ritani but love the detailed workmanship of the handmade Michael b. I''ve had the opportunity to see both at the same time and really, both are beautiful and neither would be a bad choice.

I just thought I''d clarify that you are the friend I was referring to!

Both are gorgeous so you really can''t go wrong here. I would just buy the one that you think looks better. I personally like the ritani slightly better because I think the head is prettier and the ritani is a little cheaper. However, I like the pave better on the MB ring.

I always wished MB would do a basket head like the Ritani, then you''d have the best of both worlds, but I''ve asked and they won''t being that their head is one of their signature things. But I agree with Kcoursolle that I prefer the pave on the MB.

I appreciate all your replies and opinions. I will definately go and look at them in person.

Bill Pearlman at pearlman''s sometimes mails out his settings for viewings. You might want to contact him about this because it might help to have both of them for a day or two and walk around the house in them and see which you like better.

I was originally considering the petite princess, when I was still considering diamonds for my e-ring.

I ended up getting custom work done, and my handmade pave' resembles MB quite a bit. I could REALLY see a visuable difference in HM vs. cast pave'.

I have the halo version of the Ritani Endless Love (as you can see in my avatar). I love it, don''t get me wrong, but I would say the micropave in the Ritani is more of a "shimmer" while the MB is "sparkly." Not sure if that really makes sense...

I didn''t want to spend a lot on my re-set, so I chose the Ritani...if budget wasn''t a consideration, I would''ve chosen MB.
