I can't promise whether the objection will be honoured where you live. In the EU it's automatic and unconditional, but we have GDPR, so they have to at least pretend to play nice. Dunno about the rest of the world, but it's better than nothing.

Don't worry, Kenny, you aren't being left out - I'm positive there are AI crawlers all over every single letter we publicly post on the internet.

But if you want to learn more about the depths of corporate depravity, hear this - they pirated over 80 TERAbytes of books and used those to train their AI.

80TB is a huge number to wrap your head around. Considering the average ebook file is about 1-2MB, we're talking about tens of millions of books.

Aw man! And I tried to check it with people in other countries outside the EU to make sure it was not a GDPR thing. Thought if it works even in Asia, surely there’s no reason for it to not work in the US.
