Has anyone heard of, or done any business with Mayfair jewelers?

their jewelry tends to be either designer or fashion oriented. not really diamond or precious stone specialists. they also have a remarkeable selection of watches. i was there with a friend (the east hampton location), and they were unimpressed with my friends studs...1.6 each fvs2 and fsi1, prefectly matched, and true ideal makes (by the numbers)....devine! the owner only wanted to know where she got them, and then tried to show her some substandard egl stones. i was unimpressed with them. my friend was buying a pair of italian designer diamond pave hoops...which were lovely.
