We''re back from our Virginia wedding. Here''s a few pics. I mostly post in Hangout about my cats (does that sound crazy?) but did want to share some of these here. I hope I put this pic in correctly.

Thanks so much, everyone! My photographer was Katie Stoops from Open Air Photography in Harrisonburg, VA. I feel I should mention that she was absolutely fantastic. Not only was she professional and fabulous at her job, but I felt like I was reunited with a long lost dear friend. I just love her. Here''s some more pics.

Another view of the tables. My mom glue-gunned the eyelet (she and my sister went to like 3 stores for the perfect eyelet fabric!) and they came up with the ribbon idea. Similar but thicker ribbons were used to hang the lanterns. I don''t know if you can see but there are some white eyelet lanterns in the other pic. Also there is a peony print lantern that everyone wanted. The florist wanted to buy them.

I hope this isn''t too much info. I might be getting overzealous because I know how much I love to see bride''s photos when they return and now I''m putting up mine! Hee.

The cake! A little crooked but I think it kind of added charm. We had to pick it up an hour away the day before and it held up pretty well. Then we drove it another 30 mins to the Inn the day of the ceremony.

Here''s a funny one. It rained so we didn''t have the ceremony outside under this cool southern-gothic type arch out in the garden. My mom was sort of sad about that but I LOVE rain and cozy and all that, so I was overjoyed to get married in front of the fire in the fireplace in the living room at the inn. My dad and I had to come down some NARROW stairs and past everyone (24 guests) to the fireplace. He stepped on my dress once or twice and I''m grinning and it''s silent and my only niece cries, "Maui!" (My name is Molly) and that''s why my sister-in-law is looking surprised in the background.

It was dark out there in the country, Katie (photog) had to get creative.

Here''s my bouquet. My mom and sister are more conservative in their taste and they were the ones who had to visit all the vendors for me (I''m in CA, they''re in VA) ... they told the florist about me and my love of colors and funkier stuff and she came up with this bouquet and I adored it.

Here''s our rings on figs that the caterer used as decorations. I didn''t think she''d use my ring -- it''s a pawn shop (Oh! Sorry, my mom prefers ''antique store'') find. A 1940s engagement ring, so says the shop owner. It''s really neat and I just didn''t want to spend money (yet!) on a ring.
