There were some pretty stones dropped on Dana's site this weekend. Did anyone here get that trillion minty tourmaline? Or the pink spinel? I tried for the minty garnet but I'm not sure I got it in time.

There were some very pretty stones - agreed! I completely missed the boat on the ones I would have chosen, so I hope others had some luck!

I was thisclose to pulling the trigger on that pink spinel - even showed it to hubs. But the squoval shape made me sleep on it and it was gone in the AM. Besides I got a gem from each of his last two sales so I need to start practicing self control
Dana is the just nicest guy and I love buying gems from him

That looks like a sphene since it's showing rainbows. Tourmaline doesn't do that, so if anyone got that stone, I would just double check. It could have been an innocent mistake in the listing.

Yes, the greenish gem CM is hoping to snag is a sphene.

Lots of lovely items this round with the trilliant tourmaline being my top pick if I had to choose one.

I almost bought that one. It was still available when I looked, and I thought it seemed like a really interesting gem. I hope we get to see more pics!
