We met playing softball, are both huge baseball fans, and since I am a Cubs fan, and he a Yankee fan, we thought it would be a perfect celebration to attend the opening game.

I met my FI playing softball too! We are both huge baseball fans as well (Sox for me, Philies for him)! How cool that you got to go to opening day at the new stadium!

He was pretty over the moon about last season. I agree that we have been really lucky with our teams lately. Last year''s loss to the Devil Rays was a little tough to swallow considering their history but I''ve come to terms with it now.

I can''t wait to see more pics once you get them from the photographer! I love the shot of you guys waiting in line with all the other brides and grooms. Seeing people dressed in such a wide variety of wedding clothes is really interesting.

Congrats again!

Thanks so much! I know my parents are disappointed a bit that I didn''t have the traditional affair, but this was far more ME. I had a wonderful time and wouldn''t trade it for the most lavish traditional wedding.

Besides, I have two sisters and a brother yet to be married, my mom says she''ll get her chance!

I really like that shot in line, too. It reminded me (very slightly) of one of the pics from Wishful Thinking''s wedding - just a wide variety of people all wanting to do the same thing - no matter what they were wearing or what age they are, or how many family members were there to join them.
