Marquise cut table/depth percentages?

What is the ideal table and depth percentages for the best looking marquise cut diamond?

Are the ideal percentages particular to the shape of the stone, or is it all the same across the board?

For most fancy cut stones, there''s no ideal table and depth percentages, but David Atlas'' AGA charts are a good place to start. The table and depth percentages on his charts vary based on the shape of the stone.

As Coda wrote there is NO specific combinations of proportions for determining what will always result consistently.

Charts are merely a sorting resource, but the stones have to be seen by eye to deterimine the light performance in the fancy shaped stones.
