Well after about a month of reading every bit of diamond info we could get our hands on and looking at waaaayyy too many diamonds, hubby and I decided on a Superb Cert diamond. It''s an HUGE upgrade from my "mall" diamond.

Here''s my future pet rock''s stats:
Carat weight: 1.08
Color: F
Clarity: VS2
Table: 55
Depth: 60.9
Crown angle 34.2
Pavilion Angle 41.0
Culet: .7
Girdle 1.3
Ex/Ex
No fluorescence

Just waiting to have the appraisal done and all that good stuff! I hope to have the diamond in my hot little hands next week.

We''ll have the diamond set once hubby gets back from his deployment overseas. I really liked a DVatche setting, but hubby really wants to go look settings in person. He''s in trouble because I found a Verragio setting I like (local jeweler carries this line), and I''m sure it costs way more than the other setting.

I hope I don't come across like too much of a fan

If all these great diamonds find their way out to California, mine won't be a rare. Hmmmmmm, everyone go buy diamonds from the Mall.
