I am truly blessed. I have two rings on their way to me from Steven Kirsch of Timeless Luxury. He was a true pleasure to work with start to finish. His original timeline for the project was 4-6 weeks, plus an additional two weeks for his downtime at the start of July. Well that went right out the window! He got them done four weeks to the day after he received the stones! Really you cannot ask for a better turn around then that, especially when you consider that he made me two very lovely rings in that time. His customer service really could not be better, he is prompt to respond to emails and phone calls and always helpful and his polite attitude went a long way with me!
This thread will be about the oval, or Madame Blueberry as I like to call her. I was pretty sure what I wanted, a simple three stone with trillion diamond side stones. However I sought reassurance from the very helpful crowd over in the colored stones forum. The original thread can be found here.
I told SK that I wanted a simple ring with an asprey shank, comfort fit rounding and trillion sides, what he sent me looks dead on!

The center stone is a 4.11 oval sapphire from AJS GEMS. 9.7x7.5x6.1mm. The trillion diamond side stones were chosen by Steven.

I only have his teaser pictures to post at this time, the rings will not arrive to me until tomorrow!
Here are a few pictures of the stones before they were set!

All hail the Madame! She looks amazing! Can I ask the stats on the trilliants? I have a pair I'm looking to flank a similar sized oval with but worry they could be too large. Steve got the proportions right on the Madame for sure!

I just sent SK an email asking him for that information. I asked him to choose for just that reason!

The sapphire has such a perfect color and the setting really makes it pop.

He did a fabulous job. I love the extra attention to detail in the shoulders. The prongs are perfect, and the proportions are perfect too. Enjoy!

Agree with TL. He did a fabulous job. The stone is on the darker side (which is what I would have chosen, too) and with such stones, closing them too much may worsen the overall impression. Even halos may spoil the impression. So I am happy to see that he did not cover too much of the stone...

    Enjoy!

Yup I like a stoen that has that depth of tone to it, and a simple setting can go a long way IMO. *fingers crossed* that I will l  ve it!
