How old does this ring look? Settings abit dodgy but I love that about it lol. It has its original box, It's box says "Le ROY et FILS" of BOND STREET LONDON, TO H.M. THE KING. Anyone familiar with that name? Not sure on carat weight. X

Big fan of original antique boxes here! I even find myself purchasing something at times rather for the box than what is in it! Cool ring!!
The company dates back to 1785. A first shop was opened in London in 1854, the one on New Bond Street in 1885. Were mainly clockmakers. (All according to Wikipedia).

It’s pretty. Can you get any closer on the hallmark? Ring looks Edwardian to early 20s to me. Out of curiosity how do you know it is the original box? Can you read the makers mark on the ring?

I love how this ring is different than other clusters I've seen. If I were to buy it, I'd pay whatever I'd need to to restore/repair it lol. And that box is gorgeous as well.

Found out that it was re shanked in 2005 due to it being thin/ worn out, they got it re hallmarked also. I just love the setting regardless.
