Very Good cut = not very good. So for that reason alone, most PSers wouldn’t even consider the second diamond. Even GIA‘s Ex cut range is considered too broad by PSers if you are looking for a top performing modern round brilliant. Run the specs for the first diamond through the HCA calculator under the Tools button above. If it scores 2 or less (sometimes up to 2.5), it might be promising. Then post the GIA report in the Rocky Talk forum and you will get opinions and advice for finding exceptionally well cut modern round brilliant diamonds within the GIA Ex cut range. GL
The 2ct GVS2 looked very clear with barely seeable inclusions under 10x and expectedly clean with naked eye. I think the HCA on this was 3.6 but it listed the diameter as bigger than most 2ct. My chief concern is the GOOD rating for symmetry.
The 2.3ct HSI1 had one black inclusion near the center of table which was easily seeable under 10x, and I could even see it with naked eye in regular daylight at quite a few angles. It looked like a small speck about the size of a pinhead. HCA here was 1.9
if you must pick between these two I would go with the 2.3ct, but I suggest you to take a look on more web site. Compare pricing and the stones they have.
