So I am in college I'll be in little debt when i finally finish. I am going into not so great financially paying job, youth ministry. I am not even sure how much to spend. I work for my parents and my ]paycheck is my tuition. It can be hard to save up money. So i have always heard i should base how much i spend on what I make but i fill as this is a little different. Thoughts on that.

also i found the style of setting but i cant find this type of setting at good price with good diamonds.
the main thing is yellow gold with three stone style and round cut
shinier would be better than larger carat

some ideas of what she likes this is my favorite possibly too flashy for her

I would suggest checking out Gabriel and co. Lots of Pricescopers have had success with these settings. They offer a wide variety of styles at a more reasonable price point. You can usually do better than the listed suggested mftr pricing when you purchase through a procescope vendor.

One PS vendor that sells Gabriel and Co is ID Jewelry. They can pull off some wonders within budget!

A suggestion...

You could always propose with a plain band now, and marry her in the future when you have worked a bit and saved a bit of cash to her with a diamond ring!

I love shopping on a budget. So fun. I'll be happy to look around. What's your comfortable budget and what's your max. I saw some 1k and a 1400 so I wasn't sure.

Is used OK?

1,000 to 3,000 is what I was thinking. I have about a year to continue saving so that sounds about right.

Re: Looking for the perfect threestone/trinity ring please h

Well if you have a year there's no reason to shop now.

HI:

Would you consider an Estate ring (previous worn)?

cheers--Sharon

Yes I would.

I also meant under not over not sure what I was thinking about

Sorry, I didn't see your original question. You should spend your money based on these things, in my opinions.

What is she comfortable wearing?
What are you comfortable spending?

If she isn't comfortable wearing a lot of $$ on her hand, then don't spend it just becuase you think you "should"

If you can't afford a lot, again, don't spend more than you can afford because you think you "should"

That's an old marketing ploy, the whole "spend X months of your salary"

If my husband made 12 grand a year, I wouldn't want him spending 3 months on jewelry, we've other things to worry about.

If my husband made a million a year, it could be ridiculous to spend 3 months salary just becuase that's the "rule"

I've seen beautiful 700 rings and 70,000 rings. It's all about getting the best fit for you.

I think this is well said.

It could be a good idea to look around on-line at diamonds and settings and just get a sense of how much things cost. A modest budget can still get a beautiful ring, so don't feel like you need to spend more than what's comfortable for you.

That is the one I think she would like the most but i1-i2 doesn't see to be good diamonds

No they are not.

May I ask your actual budget? I really think buying second hand will do you better than from a box store.

Yellow gold
Under 1300
Three stone
Ideally some design in the shank

Is that right?

Re: Looking for the perfect threestone/trinity ring please h
