Hello everyone!

My first post here. I'm looking for a diamond for a ring and have found two that I find interesting.
Both of these diamonds are priced similar but the option 2 has better color rating. However, it looks to me like the option 1 has better theoretical cut and the fluorescence may help out the perceived color as well. Obviously, I don't know much about diamonds so I thought to reach out and ask for your opinions. Thanks in advance!

Which one would you recommend and why?

have you seen diamond colors in person? that might help narrow down your preferences. also you can drop down to VS1 or VS2 and still not see any inclusions with the naked eye.

what lab graded these stone?

GIA for both.
Round brilliant and excellent cut, polish, symmetry for both.

I plugged the specs into the HCA:

https://www.pricescope.com/tools/hca

HCA score is good on the first diamond; it even got ALL Excellents, quite rare.

HCA score is over 2 on the second one so I'd reject it.
Unfortunaltely GIA's top cut grade of Excellent can include some diamonds that are too deep to have the best light performance.

I'd get Idealscope pic for the first one and compare it to this reference chart.
