Looking for help purchasing a diamond!!!

Solitaire. I was thinking this setting:

Petite Diamond Engagement Ring in 14k White Gold (1/10 ct. tw.)

from BN

Yup those are my top two! Any particular idea you like @rockysalamander 's choice better?

It's weird that the clarity is much lower than the IF one yet is almost a grand more expensive. I guess fluoro does really have that big of an effect on price

They are nearly identical in size. Call adimore and tell them you are the one who has it on hold at BN and what is their price on it. If you can price match it cheaper, then I would say the price overwhelmingly makes the H IF the one.

The one RS chose has better angles, but I’m not sure it would make a difference to you and your GF and with your eyes.

Okay so I spoke to a BN rep and he said that the fluoro absolutely shouldn't affect the diamond unless UV light was shined directly at it. He also told me that in the notes, its stated that the diamond is eye clean without any milkiness.

Well, there you go . I’m thrifty so I would try to price match a lower price first, but that is up to you.

Any ideas of how I can?! Trying to be thrifty too lol I googled the GIA number and theres one site that has it but its shown as currently unavailable (probably because I have it reserved at BN). I called that site and they told me they don't have any info on it. Maybe I should wait until the reservation expires.... but I also take the risk of someone buying that specific diamond

I don’t have any experience with brilliant earth, sorry. I don’t see many people here saying they went with BE, so IDK.

Yep! Scores well on the HCA and looks really nice in the video. What setting are you going with? BN is hit or miss.

Thanks for the reassurance! It’s going to be a solitaire on a white gold band. BN has a decent return policy so why not. I’ll see the diamond and if the fluoro creates any hazy ness I’ll return it :)
