Hi!

I've been on the hunt for a thin antique wedding band with diamonds in the K/L/M range to stack with my engagement ring when I want some extra bling. My engagement ring is in the L/M/N region, so I don't want the color difference to be too obvious. I've not been having much luck finding what I'm looking for on etsy/ebay, as higher color old cut bands seem to be more common.

Any ideas where else I might look? I'm hoping to stay within a $1k budget :kiss2:

Thank you!!!

I tried looking on LT:

Not much success, but perhaps your search will bear more fruit.

This may be a custom project (at least for the stones). Depending on the cut of the diamonds, I’d reach out to Caysie at CvB, or Yoram @ GemConcepts to see what, if anything, either of them can find/source.
Antique shops would be the next suggestion.

Jewels by Grace may be helpful, too...
I do wish you the best of luck in your search!! I’m sure others will have more to contribute!!! :mrgreen2:

These are in the ballpark of your budget. Not all are antique.

You could reach out to DiamondsbyLauren. They are great with colored diamonds, but I bet they can find lower colors too. I think they also work with Yoram.

I wonder if you might like sapphires mixed with the diamond? It may make the color contrast less visible. You could also go will all pale yellow or whatever color you like sapphires.

Of those above, this is my favorite, with her ER:

There are a select few others that I like with the ER, but this one is my favorite.

I think depending on the size of stones you want in the band , the color difference may be less noticeable than you think.

You could have Old World Diamonds make you one? They’ve started making bands now as well- not sure about eternity styles but definitely five and six stones.

I would try on your ring with bands set with I-J stones which are much easier to come by, the difference isn’t as apparent as you might think due to the size of the stones. I have an M transitional cut and the side stones in my ering are I-J (I think) and while you can see a difference there is also a difference in appearance due to the cut/facet pattern.
I honestly don’t remember the color of the stones in my band, it was an estate piece I found and I was more excited by the fact that it was the right size for my finger and the right size stones to go with the side stones of my ering.

Thank you so much @Matthews1127,@rockysalamander, @the_mother_thing, @leukolenos, and @dtnyc for the amazing suggestions! I felt like I wasn't finding anything, and now I have multiple serious contenders!!

I'll keep an eye on Loupe Troop, and will definitely reach out to Grace and OWD to see if they have anything!!

I'd like to stay away from custom for now - mostly because I want to be 100% sure of the exact design details before I go that route, and when I'd reached out the the jeweler that made my e-ring her quote was over budget (hand-forged, so perhaps DK would be significantly cheaper?). I'm also pretty sure there will be a custom warm old-cut eternity band in my future... it's okay to plan these things like 5 years out right?

Rubylane has SO MANY OPTIONS!!! :mrgreen2::mrgreen2::mrgreen2: Thank you! I'll also keep my an open mind towards I-J stones.

These are my top contenders:

Gonna go spend my evening searching through Ruby Lane....

Antiqueengagementrings.com aka Leigh Jay Nacht often has a nice selection of antique bands/wedding rings as well. That was where I found mine a dozen years ago.

Thank you!!! It was custom made.... and the lovely people here ensured I picked a great stone!! Here's the original thread: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/looking-for-a-oec-omc-stone-for-e-ring.231554/
I absolutely adore your ring- perfect stone and lovely setting.
Here’s one of OWD’s bands-

$1350 so not crazy out of budget, so I’m guessing it would be less with smaller or not graduated stones.
I do love the romance of an antique band though! Ruby lane is one of my favorite places to browse.
What about this? It’s cute and super budget friendly. I love to stalk her stuff.

Love that OWD band, emailed them for a quote for one with all the same size stones!!!

Omg, exactly what I'm looking for but a half size too small! Think I can squeeze into it? :kiss2:

That’s a tough one. I have worn a size 6 my whole life, due to swelling in the heat. I recently discovered that I can wear a 5.5, and not have any problems.
Not sure if that particular ring can be sized, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask...
