Looking for an OEC

I'm looking for an OEC for an engagement ring. I would not like to go lower than a K in color or lower than a 1.5 in carat. Is this possible with a 12K budget. I'm thinking I want a square illusion setting as well. Any recommendations?

I'm pretty sure I'm going to purchase that OEC. As for a setting, what are everyone's feelings on illusion settings? Also, who would be the best company to set this stone?

Oh! That makes me feel very confident, thank you! Who would you recommend to set the stone? What setting would you advise? I like square illusion, but now I'm leaning towards just a simple solitaire setting.

Great stone at a great price!! If it were me and you're leaning towards a simple solitaire, why not leave the stone in the setting it's in for a while? If you wear it for a bit and then want to change it, go for it, but if there's a chance that you'll love the setting it's in, you have nothing to lose. And, for the extra $5K you were planning to spend, you could get some amazing bands to go with the solitaire!!

It's a GIA-L, and no longer in the setting (took it out for GIA, and gave the setting to my friend who's been so helpful with all the GIA stuff).
