Any suggestions? As usual, I'd like something delicate. I was going to have a tsavorite-diamond one made, but I don't want to look a Christmas personified with my red wedding evening dress.

DBTY possibly? for something delicate or are you looking for something more substantial but still dainty?

Did you have a picture of the dress?

Hehehe he is a funny old fellow he is really that fat I kinda got the shot by surprise.

Your dress is beautiful

Something like this style maybe Double row of diamonds but with the lower strand a little higher up so that it will not drape onto the dress but rather finish a couple of centimeters off it. Are you wearing any other jewelery?

Please tell me he weighs less than my 9lb dog.

Thanks.

That is a beautiful necklace but the price tag is a wee bit painful. I have a pair of pair shaped pave dangles that I plan to wear.

HAHAHHA I just checked and he weighs more

last time I had weighed at the vet he was approx 5.3kg''s (11.7pounds) but I think he is a little fatter since then I would think he would be at least 5.5kg''s he is a fatso, our other cat is quite thin but he has always been a gobble guts if we feed him as much as he liked he would be much much larger.

I agree the pricetag is way painful I will have to keep looking :) the earrings sound beautiful :)

He''s adorable. Any more pikkies?

Thanks. I''d appreciate any help I can get. I''m also meeting with Leon.

Thanks to my coloured stone habit, my budget is about $15k. If I wait till next year, it will be considerably higher. But I do so want a neckace for my wedding. I know $15k is a lot, but it's not much where it comes to necklaces, unfortunately.

Harriet, what style are you after?

I love your dress, Harriet.

Diamonds by Lauren have some very, very gorgeous necklaces just now. I gaze at them daily.

My current fantasy is the tennis necklace or the riviera necklace, with a coloured gemstone, pear cut and halo''d as a detatchable enhancer. Lovely!
I tried on the pink flower necklace when I visited last year and I can''t begin to describe how lovely it is in real life. If it wasn''t for the price tag, I''d never have given it back LOL.

I'm open, but not a DBTY.

No, I don't care for those anyway. *ducks*

In looking at that (utterly devine) dress again, here's just my personal opinion. If it were me, I wouldn't wear a necklace at all. You don't need one between that neckline, and the gorgeous earrings you're going to be wearing. However, if you really want one, I would go with just a simple, short necklace, either all the same size, or graduated (like the one you posted) . But honestly, I think just your earrings would look stunning.

HI:

Your dresses and earrings are tasteful statements in and of themselves. IMHO, nothing is "needed" on your neck. Unless you wanted to wear ropes of pearls a la Coco, then of course you wouldn''t necessarily need earrings....

cheers--Sharon

Thanks for the compliment, Sharon. No pearls. They are my work staple.

Harriet, I love that one. I've actually been eyeing it as a potential maternity gift (I'm sure they can make me another, if you grab it!). It's simple and classic yet substantial.

Yes, I'd pick that one (I sort of did).

Jen

eta love these earrings!

Thanks. And congratulations!

I agree with Ellen that the neckline of that dress doesn''t call for a necklace, but the graduated diamonds necklace *is* stunning...

Are you messing with me? lol Yes, a couple posts up!

And out of the last two you posted, I LOVE the second one. *swoon* And it would go with more too. Not that I''d turn down the other if given to me. But the second is classy, versatile, and just plain stunning.

I agree that the second one is gorgeous. But I also don''t think it *needs* a necklace if you are wearing stunning earrings!

I prefer the second one hands down - it has enough flair to go with your evening dress.

Thanks, Harriet.

Just to be difficult, I much prefer the first one, with the pear drop. Timeless and gorgeous. I''d pick that in a heartbeat.

Jen

For me, I''d pick the first one of graduated stones. But for Harriet, for her Valentino, I think the last one works the best.

HI:

Of the two you posted, the second by far. My first choice, however, would be a diamond Riveria necklace, prong set, with small Cut by Infinity or ACA''s. The sparkle would be enough from even small stones (less than 10 points each--around 5 pointers I think) and would still look amazing. I also think that that kind of necklace would take you further (future wear) than the others. Iin this case, less in more.
