If you love it, go crazy.
Before you do though - check the seller's feedback on toolhaus.org. The box looks a bit off to me, but it may just be the age (I'm guessing this is from the 80s?)
It's so cheap, there's little risk. It's tempting because of the price, but I wouldn't really buy it otherwise because I don't think I actually love the ring itself.
I agree with checking out the seller, and there should be markings inside the ring. Do they show that?
I think the yellow gold looks nice on you. Your skin appears to be my color and I wear gold a lot.
Blast....I was hoping you'd get it but go with what you think's best.![]()
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder! But thanks
Are you blonde? People my skin tone that are blonde - I like that look. I’m a brunette
I’m resisting for now!!!

Glad you skipped this one @pearaffair. I can’t speak to authenticity of the ring but to my eyes the box is a mess. I remember talking about some of these issues with my SA a few years ago.
Sharp-cornered box shape, embossed stripes instead of lace swags and dotted ribbon line... look fishy to me, but I suppose they could be explained. I suppose the poor wrapping of the interior corners could be a sign of the box unravelling as it ages, and the lack of clear snakeskin patterning due to wear. The black insert could be a replacement for the original. IMO what has no explanation whatsoever, however, is the lack of bow/knot pattern. Over the years Cartier has changed the pattern of knots and open and closed circles, the spacing... but AFAIK never in their history have they produced a box that featured an inconsistent pattern of knots and bows like this box:

Such an interesting ring! I love the style of the setting. Was the listing an auction format before, @pearaffair? Because the seller appears to have doubled their asking price now![]()
