That's so cool, SweetPea. Sometimes I wish my boyfriend knew/cared about this stuff. On the one hand, I'm thrilled he let me pick out my own ring, but on the other hand, I wish he knew how to pick out something so nice without my input. I'm certain he has no idea what cushion or French cuts are not what an art deco setting looks like. He might know that sapphires are blue, but probably wouldn't understand why blue stones should be on an engagement ring. I try to talk to him about this stuff from time to time, but he doesn't like it. I think he thinks I'm fishing for presents, so I don't push too much.
