Let's post pet photos!

So many adorable "kids".

I'd post new ones of my girls but they just got their spring buzz cut and they look silly.

Here's one I just took of Tommy. I had been searching for him since I got home this afternoon and he was nowhere in sight. I called my dh and told him he was nowhere to be found. I looked in all the usual places- nada. Anyway, internet was down at my dh's workplace so he decided to head home and work while I continued to search for Tommy. I even went down to the doorman and porters and asked them if they had seen any stray kitties LOL. I mean, I didn't think he could have gotten out but you never know. I kept searching high and low and finally success!! Tommy was hiding behind the bedroom speakers high up on the armoire. I couldn't see he was there till I got a ladder to check specifically all the high places I could check. No clue as to why he was there but he seems OK. Cats are weird.

Anyway I started taking some pics as he wouldn't move so I figured the flash from the phone camera would bother him and he would move. It worked LOL and he gave a great big roar to show his displeasure at being disturbed LOL!! (Well not really a roar more of a cat yawn but hey, it looked like a roar and his nickname is the mocha leopard so it fits!)

Without further ado here is the mocha leopard roaring and ready to devour his prey!

I love that pic missy!!!

Thank you Junebug! Tommy looks fierce in it LOL. He was actually quite the little predator when we rescued him as they were using him as a mouser under terrible conditions. He really is a sweetie though.
Here he is biting his sister's neck. (Not the best pic but descriptive I think).

I love pet photo threads. Everyone's pets are sooo cute.

I have lots of pictures to share.

I do love kitty, shes just not photogenic so I don't embarrass her with too many pictures.

Pete is the large orange cat. He is aloof most of the time, but rarely and out of the blue wants to be a lover
Kitty is the petite tabby. She is scared of everything, but loves her momma. She is the only one that will be held like a baby belly up
Babykitty is the siamese. She does not care for humans. She is obviously above us. I think that she thinks she is a dog
Little Black is my youngest. Total sweetheart. She usually sleeps with me at night and is a talker

Last one.

This poor little bunny was captured and brought inside. I managed to get the cats away. I caught him with a tea towel and took him outside across the street. I was worried he was injured. I put him and the towel down in the woods and he didn't move, my heart sank.

I nudged his butt and off he hopped happy as can be!

I knew Maliik was a big cat but didn't realize how big until these comparison shots with Juba Kai. Juba is not a small cat -- he's 14 lbs. and stands 14 inches at the shoulder. Perhaps I should rename Maliik to Moose :))

My cat Leta, a 'foster failure'" Sometimes I think my heart is going to explode with love for her.

Our current foster 'catten' (she's 4 months old now, that strange stage between kitten and cat), Oh

Princess of the house, Bella, a great dane x mastiff, pretending that she doesn't have anything in her mouth! The best dog I've ever had...and there have been a few.

And, our naughty, naughty boy, Alvin (he came with the name!), a retriever x lab

That's the menagerie for now, it's fluid as fosters come and go but the two dogs and two cats always stay the same.

Ginger I think my heart is melting

I admire your strength. Your current foster would be one of my failures too

I'll admit...I'm struggling with her, Yssie. We got her PETRIFIED at 4-5 weeks old, a minuscule black puffball, too young to even hiss properly. Over the next 2 months she grew into such a clingy, loving cat, sleeping on my face every night. The thought of giving her up was making me sick.

Then we went on holidays for 5 weeks, and upon returning, discovered that our house sitter paid NO attention to the pets while we were away. She's changed. :nono:

I still get glimpses of what she used to be like, so we're going to wait a couple of weeks before listing her for adoption. Maybe she'll get back to what she was. She's still lovely now...but it's like she no longer thinks I'm her mom. ;(

I really hope she returns. That must be awful

Oh justginger your furbabies are so precious.
I am very sorry about the negligent pet sitter :(( but hopefully your kitty will bounce back after much love and attention from you and your dh. You were gone 5 weeks so it might take some time to get her "back". Please don't give up on her!!
