i almost forgot
tonight after i closed up at work i was doing the endless cleaning and i noticed this rainbow
now actualluy sure what the sun was shinning through to make it ?
but it was late afternoon winter sun

Maybe the edge of a glass door or window?

I have sometimes seen this where the face and the (polished) edge of the glass act as a prism. This can't be the whole story, because there are two spectra. If you see it again, you may be able to work out where it's coming from by moving your hand to cast a shadow over it.
