Less expensive alternative?

Made a stop into a local jewelry store today and fell in love with this ring. It's by parade designs. Its 3800. We could get the jeweler to make one but we still would like to save even more money by going online. Can anyone guide us to finding a stone like this perhaps a little greener and with the same setting (halo in yellow gold)? We would really appreciate it. What would a tourmaline like this cost? seemed like most are around 50 dollars?

Buying jewelry for retail in a jewelry store is something I just cannot do because they are normally so overpriced. I search for bargains! I'd find a setting on ebay and then find a stone or have one cut to fit it.
