Anybody that has a great looking pooch like that has to have plenty of money!!!

My pooch thanks you, but wishes to inform you that he was not raised in luxury. He has mere kibbles everyday.

I emailed him a couple of weeks ago for this setting---for my 2ct asscher. $1800 is the going rate.....love the setting!

Yeah, he gave me a $1200-1500 for a very basic plat split prong setting with no sides. This quote was about a month ago and I was going to have him set my future stone for me but after talking to him I realized that we dont mesh, personality-wise. I need alot more discussion and input into this type of thing. I ended up going in a different direction, but if you can let go of the process, I''m sure he''ll do a wonderful job. Love his work.

Yes he IS an artiste, for sure! I''m just way too anal to not check in alot and I know he''d be bugged with me. But if I could ever just let go of the whole process, I''d definately let him make me a ring. He''s a master. I just hope he wont go the way of a Jack Kelege in the future and end up with benches of workmen who carry out the task! Part of his charm is what I perceive to be his one-man work station...Does he work alone?

Actually Surfgirl, too late! From what I have read here on PS, he doesn''t do a lot of work himself and has benchpeople. They do train for a loooong time for him though, I read somewhere 5 years?

Hehe, I had the exact same impression of him and although I love his work, that''s how I ended up with my Ritani!!! I just couldn''t handle his artistic personality. Too much for me to deal with.

I don''t think maytal does *any* of her own work... I know she wasn''t brought up but it really surprised me. Ocean Pearlman (whom I''m working with) is an artist but not an artiste, if you know what I mean, and she does all of her own work... really impressed with her thus far.
