Yeah, that''s all I meant. The affordability there sounds a bit better than it is in practical application. I mean, I am a HUGE Tiffany fan, but when I saw what our budget would buy at Tiffany in 1996, we went elsewhere. I think a lot depends on what you can afford to spend. But if it is a RB for example, and you can get a Tiffany quality cut, (or better in some cases), then what are you getting from Tiffany that you cannot get elsewhere? (Obviously you get the Tiffany warranty which means a lot. And it is a trusted brand. But with RB''s there isn''t as much unique to a Tiffany RB versus some other incredible quality cut like ACA RB). Now in the case of Legacy or Lucida or Novo, maybe it is different b/c those are patented cute, and you can''t get them somewhere else for now and for the coming years. In that case, maybe you sacrifice size for the shape b/c you couldn''t get it somewhere else. Interesting thread this one.
