Hey all,

I'm new here, and have been looking at cushion shape diamonds for an engagement ring and have learned a lot from this site as well as youtube and other sites. I'm getting closer to decision time and wanted to hear what more knowledgeable people think of a couple ASET images I have received. The 1st is a crushed ice (her preferred facet design) and the other is a 4 main hybrid. The crushed looks like there isnt as much leakage compared to most ASETs I've seen of them, while the hyrbrid shows a lot of leakage while the rest is mostly red. Which would you choose? And any ideas to make lab grown cushion diamond hunting easier? Thank you!

I prefer the first one.

Distinctive Gem can help you find a great cushion. You can start by looking through their private reserve.

Neither of these is "crushed iced" IMO. I also prefer the first one. The second one has some leakage under the table.

Any videos of the stones?

Thank you. I had seen some of his videos and diamonds but somehow missed the custom Distinctive Gem Cushion Cut diamonds. I reached out to him for more information.

OK, I had read that "crushed ice" was shortened pavilion mains with extra facets between the girdle as in the facet pattern map from the IGI report below. How would you identify it?
