Kashmir Origin Ruby

Anybody knows about the Kashmir Origin Ruby? Recently I got a piece of 1.23 ct size cut ruby from Kashmir Origin. Normaly Kashmir is famous for its Sapphire but the Ruby comes from the same area (paddar mines). The color is superb pinkish red just like burmese color. I got this ruby from the very reliable source. Its unheated n untreated. Will put the picture soon. They say ruby from kashmir are rarer then then kashmir sapphire. I did give it for GRS certification, the person got confuse with the origin as he say its from new mines but have certain characteristic of sapphire corundom from Khasmir. So yeah..any kind of information will be helpful.

Sorry I don't have much info to add about this. Kashmir produces both the fabled Kashmir sapphires and the mine also produces rubies or red colored corundum. I know that they are normally more pinkish than blood red. Sorry I can be of no more assistance. Maybe someone else has something to add?
