I know that would not be a smart place to buy a ring unless someone wants to buy the "name" but a good friend asked me... and I have no clue.

I don,t know the answer.

But, I'd love to see a good eastern bazarre type negotiator work over a high brow jewelry salesperson.

Actually sounds kinda like a Candid Camera, Boiling Point, Pun'k (sp) type of comedy.

I would say, unless you're Ben Affleck, P-Diddy, or Donald Trump the answer would be no. Why are the rich afforded an opportunity to haggle? B/c even if they get cut a break on the item, the company knows that they'll get some free publicity out of it due to the high profile nature of the client. Not quite fair, but that's how the cookie crumbles.
