This Saturday night. She has no idea I got the ring, but she thinks I''m planning to propose next weekend when we are in Miami. So I figured I would surprise her. She knows we are going to dinner in the city (nyc), but she doesnt know that I have a hotel room booked that will be decorated with candles and flowers.

Thanks everyone. You have no idea how stressed out I was during the time the ring was being made. To finally have it and have it is amazing.

She has showed me pictures of what she likes. And we have been to a couple jewelry stores to look at different cuts, and she has always loved the cushion cut. The ring is pretty much exactly what I had envisioned. I''ll will try to take some more pictures tonight when I get home from work.

I don''t think I could ever buy something that is pretty expensive without having any idea what she liked. That is taking a big risk. I knew pretty much exactly what she wanted. She knows it is coming soon, but she won''t have any idea that it is this saturday.
