Just bought the natural Pearl necklace of my dreams!!

It’s been shipped, now I’m just waiting the one or two days it’ll take for it to get here. I am absolutely over the moon ecstatic and hope that I like it in person too.

Finding a natural pearl necklace was one of my dreams, and I had mostly given up on it. There actually are a few really nice ones floating around online, but many of them are quite small or quite short. This one is a classic 7 mm center Pearl center graduating down to 3 mm, all uncultured/natural saltwater pearls, and is just what I’ve always wanted. Can’t wait to share some pics soon!

A few quick Easter Sunday pics - I ADORE my new necklace so, so much!

There are a large number of truly incredible pearls, a large number of quite gorgeous pearls, and a few mediocre pearls. They have the luster of akoyas, a sharp, reflective type of luster rather than a glow. The colors vary - pinks, cream, sharp silvery white, blueish whites.

So simply elegant and..well...secret. You'd have to know pearls to spot what they are so do you walk around wearing them feeling all 'I've got secret pearls on'? (not just a badly matched thrown together strand of freshwaters?)

it does feel like a special little secret! They’re totally subtle - esp cause I love big pearls in the 9-10mm range. Pearls my first love, when I was seven I watched a documentary on pearls which sparked my love for gems forever onward. I’ve scoured the ‘net for natural pearls is anyone else is interested in some leads.
