And, the fancy test confirms it! I''m just reeling - delighted, but overwhelmed. :)

Thanks so much, HH, Laila, Geckodani, Puppmom! I can''t wait to start migrating between the threads, either.
36.gif
I''m not pregnant, but I lurk here sometimes, and I just wanted to say congrats, Circe! SO exciting!

Circe - Congratulations!!!
35.gif
And, welcome to the thread!!

Lanie - Really sorry to hear about your m/s. Just keep thinking about the end of the year! Gosh, you are so lucky to have the summer off!!!! Does anyone at work know? It must be really hard since you have to be in front of the classs all day.
7.gif

We haven''t told anyone yet, and no plan yet for when we will. I have no symptoms. I''m 14-15 DPO today, so it''s still very early.

Lucy - Glad that your m/s has subsided. Hopefully, it was relatively easy to deal with at work. I feel great. No symptoms. I do feel like I have increased energy though. Could be because I''m sleeping more, haha!!

Thanks, Loves Vintage, Lilyfoot, Lanie! This will be my first child. The shock''s worn off and now I''m wandering around grinning like a loon! My husband''s out of town this weekend, so no celebrating yet, but I''m looking forward to seeing him in person to share the joy.

just popping in to say a huge CONGRATS to all the new preggos!!

Circe, so excited for you!

another PS Baby Boom, they just keep coming...

Happy Mother's Day, you beautiful mamas!!!!!!!!!

36.gif

DH woke me up with roses today and a card that read: We are a family of 3! It made me cry. Lots of love and dust for healthy pretty babies!!!!! Hope you are having a wonderful time celebrating today. What an incredible miracle! (I'm still scared, but trying to live in the moment!!!!) We have our first OB appointment tomorrow. I wonder what he will be able to see at 12DPO? Probably nothing reassuring, but at least I'll get my blood levels checked. Soooo scared, but excited as well. I probably won't sleep at all tonight.
37.gif
May I join you? I was afraid to before because of what happened last time but I'm going to *try* to be brave.

Hugs and love! Happy Mother's Day!

Sticky dust to you Bliss, congrats!!! Your husband sounds sooo sweet. Good luck tomorrow!!

Congrats Circe!!!! Such happy happy news...!!!

OMG, thank you Kayleigh!!!! You are fairy godmother to so many of us. Ahhhh, your goodness is so beautiful.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY, KAYLEIGH!!!!!!! You are...the light of the world! Thank you for being so kind and so wonderful.

OMG, congratulations to CIRCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ETA:
LV - I'm like you! Barely any symptoms, no bloating even! DH thinks maybe because the boobage got so huge in the last pregnancy they don't hurt this time...perhaps because they didn't need to expand like crazy anymore? Eh, just a weird theory! Maybe every pregnancy is truly different. As for telling anyone, besides PS... I've only told my immediate family and that's it! Everyone else is going to have to guess or think I'm drinking a lot of beer and developing a big beer belly! LOL

BLISS!!! Congrats, girl!!! I''m soo ecstatic for you!!!

Circe!! Congrats to you as well!!! It really is a baby boom!!!

Quick post for me... it''s really been a busy week and weekend for me, between work and other stuff going on. One of my coworkers tragically lost her brother, and one of my best friends had her baby girl yesterday. I''m getting ready for work now, but I wanted to pop in and say Happy Mothers Day to all you wonderful ladies!!!!

8 weeks today! I''ll probably post a longer post tomorrow. Sticky dust and no bad m/s dust to you all!!!!!!!!!

Bliss!!! So excited for you lady

My DH made me a card for mother''s day and it was signed by him, the kitties, and the peanut. How cute!

My GP wants me to pick a hospital early this week so he can refer me to an OB. I''m not ready to make that decision! I thought I knew where I wanted to go, but he looked worried that it was too far away. How far away is too far? I figured I had hours to get to the hospital!
37.gif

Bliss- I am quite certain that I speak for everyone when I say we would absolutely love to have your sunshiney presence around these parts. Your hubby is such a doll. Count your blessings with the lack of symptoms. Pretty sure I''ve got them all at this point.

Circe- Wonderful news!! Welcome

-----------------------------------------------------------

Happy Mother''s Day, almost mamas!

It''s going to be an eventful week here! The last of our immediate family, MIL!, is about to find out that we are knocked up. Hubby has been putting off telling her, while everyone else has known for about a month and a half. He sent her a photo of our 7 week ultrasound in a "Nana" frame, via mail, so he does not have to tell her over the phone. Sheesh. My SIL is also pregnant and has been receiving daily phone calls from MIL; here is to hoping she does not call me more than once per week!
3.gif

I am 10 weeks and a day today with my official ten week appointment on Monday and my ten week ultrasound on Tuesday. I think the babe should look a lot more baby-like this time with little arms and legs and all. Then nuchal translucency scan only a couple weeks after that; we should be seeing a lot of the little one coming up.

I''m still incessantly sick
39.gif
I don''t actually vomit much, but feel like I''m about to constantly. Fall asleep at 8 pm! Eek. I''m on call a ton this month and it is going to hit me hard. Last month I was on OB which worked out great because there was a bit more flexibility and the ability to not sit in the operating room all day. At 10 weeks, I''m really hoping that the all day sickness is going to start letting up in the next week or two.

OH, haha re: mother''s day. Hubby told me preemptively a week ago that he was not going to get me anything for mother''s day because he did not want to jinx us. Silly boy! All that matters is that it actually did occur to him though
2.gif

Oh, and we've each told one person and that's it. I told my best friend who is due in August since she knew we were trying and my DH told his mom. Everyone else will have to wait because they aren't trustworthy enough to keep the secret!

Lynnie! Hey pretty mama! How are you doing? Oh, I'm so sorry about your colleague's brother. And on another note, how wonderful for your friend to have a baby girl. Happy Mother's Day!!! Wow, 8 weeks? Time flies!!!!!

Oh Kunzite, you jerkstore, you!
36.gif
Awww, I love the card! It was signed by him, the kitties AND the peanut? Ha! I love that!!!!!!!!!! We call our bean a peanut, too. I think ours is more like a poppy seed right now, though. Soon, it will be an apple seed! Wow, I feel like I'll have to wait forever to get a peanut sized bebe!!!!!! As for how far away is too far... Hmmmm! I'd say... 30-45 min? Ah, I don't want to tell anyone this time! It's going to be our secret for a very long time. And if anyone asks, I'll just say I'm getting fat and fabulous!

Icekid! Awwww, thank you so much!!!! You are sunshine, too! Ooooh, sorry about the ms! That can be so hard. I remember crying because I was so nauseated yet hungry at the same time. Sending anti-ms dust!!!! Wow, MIL is going to find out this week???? BIG NEWS! Wow, I don't think we'll tell MIL for a long time. Yours sounds super nice - wow, daily phone calls? That is so cute! I bet it can be too much at times, though! Would you like that or would you be overwhelmed by it? I think I'd be somewhere in the middle.

Happy Mother''s Day ladies!

DH gave me a beautiful Mother''s Day card, and a Willowtree angel figurine of an expecting mom-to-be.

Laila, Happy Mother''s Day! Awww, that is so sweet of your DH. That is so funny because I was thinking just now of how I''d love an angel figurine to help me feel better about everything. The Willowtree angel figurine sounds so beautiful. May angels watch over you and your new family!

Aww, thank you Bliss! I wish the same for you!

I attached a pic of the Willowtree figurine...it's called 'Cherish.'

Isn't it so sweet?

I''d love to eventually get this one too, ''Our gift'':

had my first u/s today at 7w5d. it is not usual to have an u/s before 10w where I live, but because of my previous missed miscarriage I was allowed.

it is happy news!
36.gif
baby had a strong heartbeat which we could even see transabdominally. everything that was supposed to be there was there.
9.gif
she could even see that the egg had sprung from the right fallopian tube. all I could make out was a bunch of gray blobs.

also, baby is measuring at 8w2d instead of 7w5d (must have implanted early). so do I now change how far along I am and my due date, or not?

this past week was really tough for DH and me with our m/c history knowing that the u/s was coming up. even though I''d been very positive until the beginning of last week we suddenly became really cautious and stopped talking to the baby. I guess we were just afraid that it wasn''t alive anymore, though my symptoms were really saying the opposite.

my bbs have been sore since 3.5 weeks and have not stopped. I have been really nauseous this past week and threw up 3x while brushing my teeth in the mornings (this morning included). I pee every 30 min. but I am so happy with these symptoms now that I know they are for a, so far, healthy pregnancy.

next week Tues I have an appointment with the mid-wife (at the hospital). I will try to get another u/s in around 10 weeks. they told me this is not necessary because it is all going well now but I want to be sure. basically, they say my u/s today substitutes for the 10w one and my next one will be the one together with the screening tests. I''m not happy with waiting. also, they said if I chose a mid-wife at the hospital, I would not be able to do a home-birth.
9.gif
awesome. I don''t want a home-birth and most mid-wives here try to push you to do it.

well, that''s my news. thank you for being patient with me and my silence up til now.

Such wonderful news! I am so happy to read that the u/s went well. I'm so glad you were able to get one earlier and that you now have some peace of mind. Wow, that your little one is measuring so far ahead, especially since you know when you ovulated. Did they advise you re: due date at all?

And, super-Yay for a hospital birth! I know that you were never thrilled with the home birth situation!!

36.gif
36.gif
Thrilled for you!!

YAY NOEL!!!!! SO HAPPY TO HEAR THAT (and glad you found a way to avoid the home birth since you were not keen on that:-)

the due date based on LMP is 22 Dec. the due date based on u/s is 18 Dec.

however, on my form, after they listed the above dates, they still gave 22 Dec as the "real" due date, bold and all. I think they allow for a calculation error of about 7 days, and if it''s within that time frame, they don''t change it. it''s not like the baby is going to be born on the exact due date, anyway.

I have to check if this hospital gives epidurals 24-7.

by the way, do all pregnancy belly buttons result in an "outie"? I really don''t like them.

Yay noelwr!!!!! So glad to hear you had a strong heartbeat!!!

Hopefully you and your DH feel some relief and can relax....just a little.

So I announced to my family! They were so so so happy and my DH called his family to tell them the news (they live far away). His brother just found out Friday that his wife is pregnant, but they don''t know the due date bc they JUST found out. They were calling my DH to tell him the news, then my DH said, well, you''re going to be an uncle too! His brother told us they think their baby is due sometime in February, but that''s physically impossible...I don''t think she has figured out that you are already about 4 weeks along when you find out. And I don''t know why they decided to tell everyone before she had even gone to the doctor to confirm it, but that''s what they decided. Anyway, it was a good weekend!!! 2 little cousins will be born within weeks of each other!

Hi Ladies,

I just wanted to say a belated Happy Mother''s day to all your lovely mommies-to-be! I hope you all enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful day
36.gif

is it ok if I share my u/s pic? sorry, really excited. this is such a milestone for us. the little x is just so I could show my mom that the head is on the bottom.

wow Lanie - fantastic news about the cousins! yah, I think you have to school your SIL about due date calculations. haha.

Happy Mother''s Day to the moms to be!

Mine did not

. It didn''t even get flat. I had one or two days where it wasn''t as deep as it usually is due to DD''s bottom poking in that area but once she moved, it went back to normal.

Noel, I''m so glad to hear about your positive U/S experience! Isn''t it crazy how, at this stage, the whole embryo looks like it''s "blinking"?

Noelwr -- what a cute little u/s picture! I can''t believe they develop so early on!!! Not sure if the name on the picture is you or your doctor, but you might want to email the admins and edit that out.

I found out the trick to my nausea (and I''m going to get a big, giant DUH from all of the preggo moms). Zofran wasn''t really helping, but I''m still taking it in case it is. You have to eat all the time, all day long. I''m stuffing a little something in my mouth every hour (no kidding), and I can tell a difference on the days where I don''t do that. And with me, it doesn''t seem to matter what is is, as long as there''s something in my belly. If one more person tells me to try saltines, I''m going to kick them in the kidney.

1,747!!!!

I''m 17 or 18DPO. I can''t believe it. This just might be real. I can''t believe the number is so high. I asked the nurse -- "that''s really high isn''t it?" She said no. I read it back to her to confirm, haha.

Ultrasound is next Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have NO symptoms!! I was prepared for the worst. I am so happy. I can''t believe it . . . .

Holy cow! That is very high! According to betabase.info the average beta score at 17 DPO is only 293 for singletons, and 582 for twins. Could it possibly be twins?!?!

Laila - I don't know! The nurse said, "no, that's not high, I mean you're 5 weeks pregant." I was expecting maybe 400 or so based on the 50 last week. Soooo looking forward to this ultrasound though. The doctor will be doing it, so that will be nice. We like him a lot, but I rarely see him. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about all of this!!!!!

Super-sweet figurine, btw! It will be such a nice keepsake to have to remember this time.
