First, thanks to all the contributing members here who have really made this place a great resource. Ive been lurking for a while absorbing as much information as possible and I am FINALLY getting to pull the trigger on a stone. Im a bit anxious and want to make the best decision here. So please chime in with opinions!

Details on the stone:
Carat: 1.58
Measurements: 7.59 - 7.63 x 4.51mm
Color: I
Clarity: SI2 (ive been assured its eye clean)
Cut: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluor: None
Cert: GIA
HCA: 1.4
Light return: Excellent
Fire: Excellent
Scint.: Very Good
Spread: Excellent
TIC

My initial reaction is overall very positive. Using this as a guide:

I think the idealscope is very good to excellent(!). Symmetry looks a bit muddy, but still on the higher end. Stone is a bit shallow and Im OK with that, I think. I mean ... yes? I made the choices on a shallow stone to get the spread up. I mean we're talking about $/mm here. Hearts look very good, again arrows are suffering from the stone depth. Anyway, please judge away!!!

It passes the IS test.

Please post the angles and table/girdle% from the report please.

Table: %60
Depth: %59.2
Crown: 32.5 degrees
Pavilion: 41 degrees
Girdle: M-STHK faceted, 3.5%

Miss anything?

missed the lowers but the heart image tells what they are.
It looks like a very nice 60/60 diamond.
Sometimes a 32.5 crown can raise chipping issues with some combos but with that girdle and pavilion angle its not a big deal.

Bright diamond. Nice hearts for a 60-60. It will have a lot of brightness. Less fire than a smaller-tabled ideal or antique cut.

Hi All - I have a similar stone in contention with a 59.6% depth and 40.8 PA, but all other specs the same. I don't have access to the IS images - do you think this stone would perform the same as the OPs?

No way to tell without more data.....
