Give the girl some water! Poor things. I can see where giving one would cause a breakdown so DON''T drink any yourself. Kids ALWAYS want what you have. Anyways...I was reading a current article and it said Kate''s birthday was on March 28 which was NOT mother''s day. I am curious to see where it said her birthday was May 10. Anyone know?

Kate''s birthday is MArch 28, the sextuplets birthday is May 10 and today is Jon and Kate''s 10th anniversary (spent apart).

Oh, gotcha! Now I remember. Thanks for clarifying. It did say Jon was at his ski condo during Kate''s b-day in March.

i guess I'm a bad mom too b/c I've denied my kids drinks in certain situations. I figure since they were moments away from going on air Kate didn't want to risk a melt down of the other children, nor a possible spill which is why I've said no to drinks right b/f family pictures or something when they are dressed and ready. Also, I don't see a problem with Kate taking a sip since she is an adult and will be doing the talking. Sure, kids want what we want but they don't always and can't always have it. I drink Coke in front of my kids but do not let them drink it and they know they aren't allowed to have pop until they are older. I don't think that makes me a bad mom. Kate has done some out there things but I think in this particular situation the denying the kids water is overblown. My guess is they all got drinks moments after the interview was complete which wasn't very long at all.

ITA. Boyfriend and I were talking about this video the other day, and it is very overblown. Kids are dramatic and demanding. You don''t just give them everything they ask unless you want them to be spoiled brats. It is important to learn composure and patience. These kids are obviously well fed and hydrated. It would have been different if they were sitting outside in the sun for a long time.

Another mom in agreement. There will always be occassions with every parent where they have to deny their child a drink/snack. I do think this is being overblown big time.

As a mom of a lot of kids, I agree totally.

I agree, that was overblown. They were about to go on live air, and she did reach back to grab the bottle, but was unable with the amount of time they had. She also promised drinks for all as soon as they were done. Children throw tantrums, that''s how they are.
