I was recently asked for some advice by a lady wanting to purchase a scarf which is made of gold spun into thread reasonable length (to approx her midriff). She is concerned about the weight on her neck, durability and combining jewellery with fashion in such a way. Realising gold weaving for manufacturing garments has been part of the African culture for many years. Can any one offer any advise?
