Hi SS

Your new stone is beautiful!!! Congratulations! I love the way it looks in your old setting. I almost bought an OEC but similar (yet opposite) to you had always been drawn to antique cushions. Needless to say, I was the one who bought your cushion and I think it is such a pretty stone. It is being set by LM (solitaire). When it was appraised, the appraiser noted an inclusion at the 6 o''clock (or 12 o''clock - or 3 and 9 the way you had it set). Were you ever able to notice it? Did the stone collect dirt/dust in that area? Did you ever notice a yellow tint in certain lighting (it was graded as a J against a GIA master set)? Sorry for the many questions but I am curious as to how it looked wearing it day to day.

Hi penskip. How exciting to hear from the lady who bought my cushion! With regards to your question I could never see any inclusion with my naked eye in any conditions. I did once look at it through a hand lens (loupe) and couldn''t see anything, but I didn''t know what to look for and I''m slightly clueless when it comes to spotting inclusions and I never actually saw the stone loose. I don''t recall noticing that it collected dust any more in any particular area - actually I found it pretty easy to keep clean.

As for the colour - I found it to face up white in most conditions. Occasionally I would see a slight warmth, but never anything that bothered me. In most lights it looked very white to me.

Hope that helps! I did think it was a beautiful stone and I was sad to let it go. I look forward to seeing it after you have it set.

AMAZING!!!!
