Well, my dear, you''ve hit paydirt with that reset! A beautiful new halo and a wonderful home for that yummy blue stone. The necklace is a real eye catcher as well and how sweet that it comes from your daughter!

I just love them all - you really made some great decisions and ended up with two gorgeous rings. Enjoy them all and please feel free to take many more pics - ha!

I'm so glad you like my old and new blues!! I've had that sapphire for 20 years, at least, and it came back from the recut and repolish like a champ. I am enjoying my rings and I thank you for stopping by with your very welcome compliments

We will have to see about more pics. I can't tell you how many I had to take to get this lot

I was fortunate to have the semimount to use with the sapphire and a jeweler who was able to put it all together for me. My daughter really wanted to give me some jewelry for my birthday and it all worked out. I appreciate you all taking the time to stop by and enjoy my "blues" with me

Thank you, Lauren. It may have lost a little carat weight below the girdle. I have to check with the jeweler, when she returns from vacation. My appraisal says its 1.69 ct now. I want to double check that with her. That would be .04ct--not too bad.
